Deforestation

 

Deforestation refers cutting down trees in a huge number. The reasons of deforestation are many. People are cutting down trees in huge number to get quick profit from them. The attractive price of wood also resposible for deforestation. To get more place for cultivation people are deforesting also. The deforestation disrupts our ecological balance. The existence of animals of forests are going to be threatend. Because of deforestation, carbon dioxide is increasing whole over the world. The world is becoming warmer, as a result. The sea level is increasing and many parts of the world will go under water in recent future. On the other hand, the greenery of the world are turning into deserts as in immediate effect of deforestation. We may face the problem of flood, soil erosion and drought etc. We can take many effective measures to prevent deforestation. Tree plantation programme should be organized to the remote corner of the country. The government should make TV and radio programmes on the subject of tree plantation. Every people should be informed of the danger of deforestation. Besides, the conscious people of the society can arrange awareness programme and influence every people to plant more and more trees.

বঙ্গানুবাদ:

বন উজাড় বলতে বোঝায় প্রচুর পরিমাণে গাছ কাটা। বন উজাড়ের কারণ অনেক। দ্রুত লাভের জন্য মানুষ বিপুল পরিমানে গাছ কাটছে। কাঠের আকর্ষণীয় দামও বন উজাড়ের জন্য দায়ী। চাষের জন্য আরও জায়গা পেতে মানুষও বন উজাড় করছে। বন উজাড় করা আমাদের পরিবেশগত ভারসাম্যকে ব্যাহত করছে। হুমকির মুখে পড়ছে বনের প্রাণীর অস্তিত্ব। বন উজাড়ের কারণে সারা বিশ্বে কার্বন ডাই অক্সাইড বাড়ছে। এর ফলে পৃথিবী উষ্ণ হয়ে উঠছে। সমুদ্রপৃষ্ঠের উচ্চতা বাড়ছে এবং সাম্প্রতিক ভবিষ্যতে বিশ্বের অনেক অংশ পানির নিচে চলে যাবে। অন্যদিকে, বন উজাড়ের ফলে পৃথিবীর সবুজাভ মরুভূমিতে পরিণত হচ্ছে। আমরা বন্যা, মাটি ক্ষয় এবং খরা ইত্যাদি সমস্যার সম্মুখীন হতে পারি। বন উজাড় রোধে আমরা অনেক কার্যকর ব্যবস্থা নিতে পারি। দেশের প্রত্যন্ত অঞ্চলে বৃক্ষরোপণ কর্মসূচির আয়োজন করতে হবে। সরকারের উচিত বৃক্ষরোপণ বিষয়ে টিভি ও রেডিও অনুষ্ঠান করা। বন উজাড়ের বিপদ সম্পর্কে প্রতিটি মানুষকে অবহিত করা উচিত। এছাড়া সমাজের সচেতন ব্যক্তিরা সচেতনতামূলক অনুষ্ঠানের আয়োজন করে প্রত্যেক মানুষকে বেশি বেশি বৃক্ষ রোপণে প্রভাবিত করতে পারে।
